‘Youth voices’ is aimed at giving Cambodian Urban Youth a voice and lets them speak out about issues that are important to them. Through campaigns initiated on ‘Youth voices’ they can address duty-bearers (government, private sector and civil society) holding them accountable for improving access to decent and secure urban livelihoods and youth friendly policies and practices.
‘Youth voices’ helps young people in Cambodia to organise themselves and speak out about issues that are important to them.
Through the platform support for each campaign can be obtained in several ways:
By organising meetups (can be meeting/ flashmob/ gathering);
By getting people to like or share your cause on social media;
By inviting people to contributed stories ( text, image, video, audio);
By starting a petition.
The platform guides you in setting up a clear and feasible campaign aim. It helps in getting support for your cause, measuring your successes and is an easy tool for maintaining contact with the supporters of you campaign.
‘Youth voices’ is an initiative by COMFREL. COMFREL will support a select group of Youth Groups and Youth Organisations in developing and rolling out their campaign. Please read about the application process for Small Grants and Medium Grants here.
